Louis Barnes

My name is Louis Barnes, I am 13 years old.  I have lived in Calgary, Alberta all of my life.  Riding my DirtBike is my favorite thing to do.  I am on the Honour Roll and I also just received ‘Excellence’ in Physical Fitness.  When I am not riding or racing, I enjoy riding my scooter, hanging out with my ‘Husky Hero’s’ that my Mom and I adopted, jumping on my trampoline, skating in the winter, and listening to music.

I started racing when I was 4 years old and won the Alberta Championship in 2013.  I have raced in Alberta, BC and the USA.  My mom and I try to race as much as we can, we race some of the AMSA and we race all of the WRMA Spring and Fall Series, we also raced the 361 Summer Slam.

In 2014 I won the ‘Ryno Hard Charger’ award and at that time was the youngest to ever achieve this.

My goal for 2021 is to be top 3 in the 85 class and top 5 in the supermini class.  I will be training hard to increase my endurance in order accomplish this.  I will be furthering my training with Josh Gedak, who is a top Pro rider in Alberta and is 17th in Canada.  I will also continue to practice and work hard to improve my speed and skills. I plan to race the spring and fall series at WRMA and also some of the AMSA Provincial Series.
