My love of quadding began at a young age on my grandparent’s farm, where they had a quad that they used for doing chores. After high school I went to work learning how to be and equipment operator. After several years of not doing much quadding and having worked enough that I could afford one of my own I bought my first quad, an arctic cat. I have had a few quads since then as well as a side by side and I am currently riding a CF Moto.  I didn’t do as much riding as I thought I would just on my own so when I discovered the Calgary ATV Riders Club, I was eager to join. It has been a great group of people to ride with. I have gotten out more than I ever would have just riding on my own. I have gotten to go to so many new areas to ride and explore as well as taking part in maintaining and enhancing the experience for everyone by being a part of the club’s stewardship initiatives and promotion of responsible riding and environmental sustainability. After only being a member of the club for a year, I had the opportunity to become one of the directors. I have been a director for a few years now and continue I look forward to contributing to the great work that we do.
